Radiance

Radiance is a dedicated and hardworking 56-voice ensemble of experienced singers with a fundamental comprehension of musicianship and a functional ability to read music. Members are also expected to produce a pure and consistent tone that is able to blend well with others. An audition is required and appearances in Sunday morning worship services are about once per month. There are a few additional special services and performances throughout the year.

ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Any singer who misses the rehearsal immediately preceding a service or concert will not sing in the singer or concert itself. No singer should plan to miss more than three (3) services/concerts throughout the year. Singers who are sick or who have been exposed to contagious illness should stay home. This will not count against your three (3) planned absences. If any singer needs to miss more than the allotted three (3) services/concerts, or more than half the scheduled services and/or concerts in the year due to illness, they will be asked to take a leave of absence for the remainder of the year and will be invited to return the following year if there is a vacant seat in their section. Anyone in auditioned choirs gone for three or more (3+) seasons will be asked to re-audition. The first rehearsal is mandatory for all singers planning to participate in choir throughout the year, so please make your late summer plans accordingly.
