I Believe
Music: Mark A. Miller
Text: Anonymous Jewish poem

I believe in the sun, I believe in the sun,
even when, even when it’s not shining.

I believe in love, I believe in love,
even when, even when I don’t feel it.

I believe in God. I believe in God,
even when, even when God is silent.

The Tapestry
Music: Audrey Snyder
Text: William Blake and Audrey Snyder

Joy and woe,
the tapestry of life.
Joy and woe are woven fine,
A clothing for the soul divine,
under ev’ry grief and pine,
runs a joy with silken twine.

It is right,
it should be so,
we were made for joy and woe,
and when this we rightly know,
through the world we safely go.

Around and around
weaving pleasure and strife,
the wheel of fortune spins the tapestry of life,
in a myriad of colors both deep and bright,
fabric of our souls,

Joy and woe are woven fine,
a clothing for the soul divine,
under ev’ry grief and pine,
runs a joy with silken twine.
