Carter Smith
Summer Minister
Carter Smith is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist with experience in UU communities in her home state of North Carolina, in Massachusetts where she attended Harvard Divinity School, and in California where she was an online youth advisor during this past pandemic year. In her work with First Unitarian, she is excited to dive into social justice work, join in the pastoral care ministries of the congregation, and continue her work to support young people moving more fully into the life of the church. Carter is a big UU history nerd who loves any opportunity to talk about covenant and working to live our principles in our Everday lives. When she is not working, Carter enjoys reading, cooking, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and spending time in the garden.
