Jennifer Springsteen has been a member of First Unitarian Portland for 15 years and studying for the UU ministry. She graduated from Starr King School for the Ministry in Oakland in May. She co-founded PDX Writers, and her writing has won several awards, including Regional Arts and Culture Council grants, an Oregon Literary Arts Fellowship, and two Pushcart Prize nominations. Jennifer and her family will be moving to Virginia later this summer, where she will serve as a hospital chaplain intern.
