Update from the MSC, January 2022: The UUA has released the names of ministers interested in our congregation. We have a rich pool of strong candidates, having received 18 initial applications. We are moving forward and conducting interviews with 9 of these applicants, and feel very optimistic about our options. This is the part of the search where we can’t share much about our process, as we enter deep discernment on which candidates to pursue further, but know that we are hard at work! As we wind down those initial interviews, we will be narrowing the field to 3 or 4 ministers, with whom we will carry out more intensive precandidating weekends, before bringing our final candidate in front of the congregation in May.
We are so grateful for all of the participation from the congregation and staff, and feel confident that we’re able to clearly and accurately convey to these ministerial candidates who we are and what we’re looking for as a collective.
