Lan Su Chinese Garden is partnering with the Oregon Food Bank to present a complimentary visit to Portland’s nationally known Chinese Garden with the donation of two canned or non-perishable food items through December 17th. The partnership will allow families in the community to visit the Garden regardless of ability to pay, while contributing to the important work of the Oregon Food Bank, one of the organizations support by First Church. During last year’s celebration, 3,400 lbs. of food items were collected, resulting in over 2,800 meals for individuals and families. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Garden, and learn about the rich cultural history of China while supporting hungry families throughout Oregon.
