
It is a beautiful thing to experience a sense of belonging—whether it is the spiritual work of learning to belong to oneself, the joys of belonging to a community, or the moral awakening that comes when we recognize we belong to the earth and to one another. Poet David Whyte calls it “one of the great triumphs of human existence.” This week, we’ll explore what that sense of belonging asks of us in return. What tasks and responsibilities are we called to once we recognize ourselves as a vital part of a greater whole?
