Many of us are drawn to the Unitarian Universalist tradition for our embrace of freedom – for we not only uphold a free and responsible search for truth, we also have very little that is compulsory.  But underlying this freedom is our Covenant, which is our agreement on how we are to be together and participate in our shared community.  The Covenant can be a bit confusing, but the essence of it shapes our lives on many levels.
