Prayer is a practice that has been part of Unitarian Universalist congregations since the beginning of our tradition. It is one of many spiritual practices that our members engage with in their lives. People are also free not to pray here. We could be said to be skeptics and believers side by side when it comes to this power of prayer to make a difference. Actually, prayer is not just one practice, but many. Today, let us reflect on what we may be doing when we engage with this type of practice and open our hearts to the possibilities prayer may hold for us.
