Existence always includes everyday irritations, but it can be especially easy to sweat the small stuff when surrounded by larger realities of crisis, repression, and hardship. As a countermeasure to inevitable annoyances, a “pet fave” is the opposite of a pet peeve. It can offer the relief of satisfaction with the mundane.
