March/April:  Dave Gallison

Dave Gallison is delighted to share instants and instances of often-startling beauty in the natural world.  Photographs feature themes of African leopards and lions in repose, the surreal patterns of water and reflection, and avian and sea creatures.

It is very fulfilling to express the splendor of the world through my photographic vision, and hopefully through sharing images that might momentarily take someone’s breath away we can deeply connect with the wonder, vastness and joy of being alive.

An Oregon resident for over 50 years, Dave is active in many personal as well as volunteer pursuits on indoor/outdoor courts, the mountains, the coast, and tropical waters.  He is a graduate of Reed College and University of Oregon.

With newfound time in retirement, Dave has embraced photography as a second act, and the UU Art Wall is hosting his first gallery exhibition.
