Heather E. (she/her) came to First Unitarian Portland looking for an open-minded spiritual community for herself and her boys, and quickly found a joyful home in the bell choir. She appreciates being part of a place where music, story, and shared values all help shape congregational life.

Heather is currently taking a storytelling class and learning how to tell stories in new and engaging ways. She does water aerobics twice a week and has recently started a solar energy development company. At church, she’s involved with the bell choir, memoir writing, and the art committee, and looks forward to continuing to grow and serve in community.
