Ginny K. rediscovered her connection to First Unitarian Portland after a 20-year hiatus. Following a pivotal moment in November, she sought a spiritual and active community to navigate challenging times. Ginny and her husband, Sam, began attending services virtually before joining in person, and they are both thrilled to have found their way back.

As a yoga instructor, Ginny also enjoys stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, camping, and living a vegan lifestyle. She’s passionate about staying active and exploring new places. Ginny is perhaps best known for founding the Portland Stand Up Paddle Board Witches on the Willamette event in 2017, a beloved Halloween tradition that brings the community together. Currently, Ginny is taking her time to explore where her passions and interests will lead her within the church community.
