All congregants are invited to the hybrid Social Justice kick-off event of the new church year! There will be snacks starting at 11:45 followed by a conversation about how we can collaborate to find synergy among our groups and the needs of our wider community. During the second half of the Kick-Off event we will learn more about our UU the Vote collaboration with North Carolina Unitarians who are working to counter Christian Nationalists running for 500 offices in that state. You’ll learn about why Christian Nationalism is such a threat to democracy, why Oregonians should care, and how we can effectively engage folks around shared values.
