Elizabeth B. , who goes by “Britt,” discovered Unitarian Universalism 14 years ago and immediately felt at home. Though she had never heard of UU before, she realized it aligned with her beliefs and offered a welcoming community. Britt’s journey to First Unitarian Portland was encouraged by her brother from the Netherlands, who suggested she check out the church.

Britt loves gardening and has been an active part of the church community for years. She served as an usher, volunteered during the basement overnight program, and has been involved with the Good Times group since its inception. Known for her dedication and warmth, Britt continues to contribute to making First Unitarian a vibrant and inclusive space.
