Brendan B.

Brendan B. was drawn to First Unitarian while seeking more meaning and understanding, and found that UU values and its way of thinking about humanity resonated deeply with him. He appreciates being part of a community that makes space for reflection, service, and a shared commitment to care for one another.

Brendan bikes frequently and enjoys reading, doodling, hiking, and camping with his family. He and his wife live in Laurelhurst with their two teenagers, and after nearly 25 years in Portland, the city remains home. Originally from Corvallis, Brendan works in urban planning and real estate development, follows the Trail Blazers and the OSU Beavers, and has recently volunteered with the Shower Project and started ushering, with an eye toward finding more ways to serve.
