A Social Hour (or, Coffee Hour as it is frequently called by congregants) in Fuller Hall follows the worship service. If you wish, Coffee Hosts are on hand to escort you downstairs to Fuller Hall, and show you around (look for them holding "Coffee Host" signs in the Narthex after the service). Be sure to visit our Newcomer Table, where congregant hosts will greet you and answer questions about First Church. In addition to coffee and pastries (coffee, sugar, milk and some teas now being served are organically grown), you’ll find a changing art exhibit featuring Portland-area artists, a book store with an excellent selection of titles, and information tables for many of our adult activities, including our very active social justice groups. Program representatives will be happy to share their enthusiasm and information, and answer questions.
