Jesus and His Kingdom of Equals will focus on what we really do and do not know about Jesus the person.

We will study the New Testament alongside what is currently known of the history and culture of Jesus' time. We will consider which metaphors, stories and interpretations are worthy of inclusion within our own belief system.

We also hope it will give young people a tool for assessing whether a given belief or rule will help create the realm of justice and love which Jesus envisioned. Then they will reflect on how this religion may differ or be similar to Unitarian Universalism.
