Elections abound this year, and one close to home is our own First Church Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee election. Come meet the folks who will be running or seeking another term in 2008.
The Nominating Committee is hosting this "Meet the Candidates" fair between services. Please join them for a time to meet and greet the folks who are running or up for re-election.
Returning to run for another term on your Board of Trustees will be Randy Russell and Helena Lee. Running to replace two positions on the Board (which will open in June) will be Camille Wright, Shirlee Geiger, and petition candidate Bill Michtom.
Running for positions on the Nominating Committee are three new candidates: Michael Cunningham, Kathryn Estey and Hafidha Acuay Osuna.
Mark your calendars and plan to meet, greet, and eat a tasty treat.
