"The Almost Unitarian Rabbi," Leah Hart-Landsberg, Guest Preacher
This sermon is about a rabbi in the early Reform Judaism movement who almost became Unitarian clergy. Join us to explore UU and Jewish shared history and theological connections.
Leah Hart-Landsberg grew up in the First Unitarian Church of Portland and is currently a student at Starr King School for the Ministry. She is grateful that the Portland congregation is sponsoring her in the ordination process. In August she'll begin a ministerial internship at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood, NJ. This sermon placed in the Honorable Mention category of Unitarian Unviersalists for Jewish Awareness's Jerry Davidoff Sermon Contest 2007.
